Six factories from Special Economic Zone of Royal Group along national road 4 in Phnom Penh’s Meanchey district immediately recruited 340 workers of Y &W factory to work in the factories.

According to the Ministry of Labour stated on March 18, 2024 that for this job opportunity, the workers of Y&W factory can apply at the factory and immediately interview.

Chhat Chanthorn, a worker at Y&W said that she decided to apply a job because it is a good chance for her in order to have a new job for getting income to support her family.

She added that she applied a job because she belief in the resolution of the Royal Government as well as the Ministry of Labour after her factory owner ran away and she hopes that she and other workers will receive resolution soon in the near future.

Nhol Sarom, another Y&W factory worker, said that “I decided to apply for a new job now because the job opportunity has arrived without having to go find it by myself, especially apply immediately, interview immediately, know the results quickly.”

Un Bunna, SEZ Recruitment Officer, said that hundreds of job opportunities were advertised to the workers of Y&W factory and all workers could come and apply and be interviewed immediately.

“I would like to call on all workers of the Y&W factory to apply for the opportunity to work in the factory in the Special Economic Zone, where all workers receive many benefits,” he said.

He added that the workers will receive a lot of benefit including: $202 salary per month during 3 months’ probation and they will get $204 per month after finish probation, $10 for accommodation and travelling, 32000 rile per day for lunch and another more benefit.

In addition, workers will also receive overtime bonuses, professional bonuses, 5% bonuses and seniority bonuses in accordance with the Labor and Transportation Law.
